An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Telecommunication Operators Engagement and Delivery Manager to join their welcoming team.
The Telecommunication Operators Engagement and Delivery Manager Role:
Day to day management and leadership of project and the project team. Design project structure, set appropriate delivery methodologies and manage effective transition between project phases. Develop and draft the Business Case and budget, tracking delivery. Identify skill requirements and deploy and develop resources, managing a medium sized team. Deliver the agreed Business Case benefits and outcomes, ensuring the appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place. Identify and manage stakeholder relationships at a senior level. Monitor and identify project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate. Support effective governance and decision making. Provide reporting and engage in mechanisms that hold you to account for the delivery of the project. Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required. Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Manage performance and report progress to sponsors.
What Telecommunication Operators Engagement and Delivery Manager Will Need:
1. Manage critical government relationships with Telecommunication Operators to ensure complex technical work can be taken forward and provide vital capabilities for the law enforcement and intelligence communities.
2. Build and maintain strong working relationships in an incredibly complex stakeholder environment facilitating collaboration in order to achieve successful outcomes for the business.
3. Good understanding of telecoms operations and their regulatory compliance requirements.
4. Ability to align delivery with national priorities, legal frameworks and long-term capability needs.
5. Ensure the Telecommunication Operators Delivery Team delivers vital operational capabilities for operational colleagues
6. Manage the commercial processes with Telecommunication Operators in order that their resulting work can be overseen and assured
7. Ability to provide oversight to the work of the Telecommunication Operators to assure the delivery of new and improved capabilities.
8. Experience working with or within government agencies, particularly in national security, law enforcement, and intelligence contexts.
9. Demonstrated success in delivering secure and resilient technology solutions in regulated environments.
