An Technical Architect / Architectural Software Engineer is required for our defence client.  The role shall focus on configuration and installation and shall problem solve any key components and prerequisites, ensuring that all technical characterisation is captured. 
•Planning into Sprints a defined and agreed output; including prioritisation and forecasting into the general SIXT Product Backlog. 
•Gathering the materiel and developing a de-risk test and assurance plan. 
•Understanding and scripting the connectivity needed for functionality. 
•Installation and testing on a Lab test rig with a target sim environment. 
•Operate in a "fail fast, fail early" mindset during de-risking activities. 
•Problem solving any 'technical deltas' and determining a way-ahead. 
•Knowledge transfer of technical nuances to Eng on boarding teams. 
•During characterisation produce quality artefacts; DLD's, ILD's and LLD's. 
•Support consultancy to the IT&T team to facilitate system acceptance.


Essentials Skills: 
-TOGAF Foundation
-ITIL V3 (Foundation)
-(BCS) Enterprise and Solution Architecture - Intermediate.
•Proven delivery within a SAFE4 Agile Environment. 
•Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS XE and Hierarchical IP Subnetting. 
•Exceptional communication skills; able to handle a diverse audience. 
•Compiling from source code, and able to configure executable scripts.
•An understanding of both client and server side configuration. 
•Fully comprehends CITRIX remote secure access; able to script into Citrix. 
•Strong analytics and consolidation of tech data and problem-solving. 
•Able to translate requirements into solutions and design artefacts. 
•Has an ability to cross transfer technical knowledge to tech/non-tech staff. 
•Good understanding of deployed Maritime and Land Platforms. 
•Strong in the Defence Services of COP, Tracks/SSA, GeoInt, Logistics & CHAT.
