Service Transition Manager
Initially a 12-month contract with the possibility of further extension available for a proven Service Transition Manager to join support their existing agile delivery team.
As the Transition Lead, you will be required to manage the successful and safe introduction of a critical national programme into live service operations from two Legacy Services. They will mobilise, plan and lead the Transition activities to deliver against the programme objectives, following the organisation delivery assurance processes.
The ideal candidate should be coming from a background where they have successfully delivered a transitional outcome for a major organisation and have a strong knowledge of managing the Transition of Legacy services to successful delivery within a Programme covering the breadth of required workstreams. technical delivery, test service management, communications, readiness, early life support. Ideally seeing the transformation through its entire life cycle end to end.
Key skills required:
Experience of shaping and planning the transition activities with the wider Programme Roadmap
Pro-active management of internal and external controls including RAID
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations through appropriate communications
ITIL and Service Management experience in the implementation of service design for enterprise solutions.
This role would suit an individual who is passionate about delivering Transitional outcome, through workstream, roadmaps, shaping and modelling and is used to working in a multi-discipline, multi-blended team environment.
