What Senior Business Analyst Will Need:

  • Experience of analysing and understanding a business problem, process or opportunity
  • Ability to both initiate business analysis of a subject area and to build on previous analysis and modelling work using research and analysis skills
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to understand how a business area or process works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, interviews, observation and other stakeholder engagement techniques such as elicitation workshops, conducting face-to-face in-depth interviews, and developing and analysing surveys
  • Experience of identifying and elaborating on user and business needs to enable effective design, development and testing of data services
  • Experience of requirements gathering in a data modelling context: leading workshop facilitation, interviews, prototyping
  • Experience and demonstrable ability to compile functional and non-functional requirements and manage these effectively in a catalogue
  • Ability to model requirements with AGILE (User stories/epics) and UML (Use cases)
  • Experience of providing a level of quality assurance to all documentation and deliverables by ensuring a suite of documents is produced
