Our client within the Public Sector requires a hands-on technical delivery leader responsible for software delivery within a modern engineering environment. Key focus on agile practices, stakeholder engagement, and enabling high-quality software outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Scrum Master/Delivery Manager, leading agile ceremonies and removing blockers.
Manage scope, dependencies, and delivery momentum.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps on technical delivery.
Engage with senior stakeholders, providing transparent progress reports.
Maintain backlogs, manage risks, and track progress using Jira.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Recent hands-on experience leading software development teams in agile environments.
Proven ability as Scrum Master/Delivery Manager in active builds.
Knowledge of modern engineering tools (Git, CI/CD, Cloud platforms).
Strong stakeholder engagement and risk management skills.
Proficiency with Jira and delivery governance.
Demonstrated SFIA Level 6 capabilities with evidence of technical delivery and problem-solving.
Technical Environment:
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, automated testing, and secure, resilient services.
Desirable:
Experience with platform/data engineering, UK government digital services, and ServiceNow.
