Exciting Contract role available for a proven Security Lead with extensive Security Operations and Global Infrastructure – LAN / WAN experience require for our Central London Client. This Security Lead / Operational Officer role is a hands-on role reporting to CIO to ensure the ongoing implementation and operations of our clients security policies and systems. The role manages information security, ensuring the integrity, availability & confidentiality of information & data. The role will provide expert advice to projects to ensure adherence to information security standards and complies with regulatory standards. The role will involve supporting internal stakeholders and providing assurance to clients during bid support and client queries. As a Security Operations Leader you will have a proven track record of fostering open communication, driving collaboration and presents ideas & concepts logically and clearly on projects. You will be helping our client to mobilise a strategic programme of work: working with managed service providers to install a globally managed WAN and LAN; introducing world-class security, replacing all legacy phone and video conference systems with MS Teams.

 

Experience required

  • CISSP Certified
  • 5 years’ equivalent work experience in a Security role with detailed knowledge of  TCP/IP, Networking, Routing and Switching~
  • Solid background in IT operations support (System, Networking, etc)
  • Strong knowledge in Active Directory, NTFS permissions, Windows Servers
  • Working knowledge Firewalls, Web Filtering, Mail FilteringKnowledge of ISO27001 2005/2013/2015 security standard
  • Holds security industry certifications  such as (Security+, CISSP, CEH,  CISA, CISMP, SSCP, MSCE with Security, CCNA/CCNSP Security)
  • Experience with monitoring tools and log management
  • Understanding of virtualization, load balancing, clustering, caching processesSDesign, Architecture and implementation of Security measures experience
  • Security Assurance skills
  • Policy Management & complaince skills
  • Assest Management, Risk Management & Disaster Recovery Management experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of PCIDSS v3 Security standard
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard
