Our client, a prominent Local Authority, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key transformation initiatives within various directorates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering projects that generate efficiency savings and leverage innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and oversee the delivery of complex projects within a structured programme framework, ensuring alignment with defined scope, quality standards, budget, timeline, and resource objectives.
• Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle, from defining quality criteria for deliverables to implementing new capabilities, ensuring project benefits remain aligned with organisational priorities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and delivery management.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in preparing formal reports, budgets, cost estimates, risk assessments, and utilizing project tracking software.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Visio (or equivalent tools) for project planning and stakeholder communication.
• Sound understanding of data protection, freedom of information, and confidentiality requirements.
• Certification in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodologies.
