An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their welcoming team.

 

The Project Manager Role:

• Play a key role in the management of our National Traffic Scotland Systems Contract and oversight of our contractors to ensure high performance levels, value for money and delivery of the outcomes we want from our ITS.
• Project manage critical ITS projects to support the oversight and development of the Traffic Scotland System.
• Support decision making and strategy development around system obsolesance / investment, future systems architecture and connected / data services. Support the management / optimisations of traffic signals.

 

What the Project Manager Will Need:

  • Demonstrable experience and expertise relating to ITS systems management
  • Demonstrable relevant ITS project management experience in a roads (or transportation) environment
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, developing, and maintaining credible relationships and experience in providing advice and support to a senior level
  • Demonstrable experience of contract management and successfully delivering a range of priorities in a complex and challenging environment with a flexible approach to team working
  • Expert knowledge relating to ITS systems development and application, including that relating to contemporary / emerging technology solutions, systems architecture, hosting and security
  • Experience relating to the management, operation and optimisation of traffic signals
