Lead Enterprise Data Architect – Insurance, Transformation, AWS, Hybrid, London
Our client within the insurance sector is seeking a Passionate Lead Data Architect to spearhead our data architecture function and drive our transformation into a data-driven, AI-enabled organisation
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the enterprise data roadmap, outlining current, target, and transition states aligned with the organisation’s Data & AI strategy.
Maintain solution architecture designs and playbooks for cutting-edge data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, and promote adoption of advanced data platform and analytics capabilities.
Own the target state architecture for data and analytics platforms, managing transition plans from the current state for each Line of Business.
Experience
Extensive experience in data architecture, particularly in large-scale data transformation projects.
Proven expertise in modern data warehousing solutions, with deep familiarity with Snowflake and its ecosystem.
Hands-on experience delivering enterprise capabilities using Snowflake, AWS services, Collibra, or similar tools.
Strong background in designing data ingestion, transformation, visualisation, and metadata management.
Demonstrated success in implementing data products aligned with business needs and modern data principles such as data mesh.
