Lead Enterprise Architect - Application, Governance, Assurance, SC Cleared, Hybrid, £875 pd

We are seeking a highly experienced SC Cleared Enterprise Architect to oversee design governance across our digital estate. In this role, you will influence and contribute to digital strategy and direction, providing essential governance and technical advice to digital programmes, projects, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain design principles, policies, standards, and related documentation.Engage with technical and business stakeholders to understand their needs and interpret them to inform decision-making based on risk and complexity.Transform business challenges into effective technical designs.Design systems characterized by medium levels of risk, impact, and complexity, working across multiple services or within a large, complex service environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Practical experience as an Applications, Technical, Solution, or Enterprise Architect.Proven track record in developing architectural strategies, policies, and processes.Experience working within governance and assurance frameworks.Skilled in writing and reviewing technical design documentation.Certifications such as ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board) plus one of the following: ITIL, IT4IT, or COBIT.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience in similar roles within the wider industry, public sectorExperience working with strategic outsource partners.Knowledge of secure computing policies and practices relevant to (eg, JSP440, SPF, GPG) and their application within secure environments.
