Lead Cloud Architect – AWS,  Infrastructure, Networking,

We have recently acquired a unique opportunity from a major organisation in the public sector to help them bring their latest project into life by acquiring a Lead Cloud Architect.

This role is not for the faint hearted, but a result driven individual who can be hands on when required and conscience of delivery.

In a fast-moving environment, you will have total visibility on all projects moving forward and be directing your technology driven team into a new sphere inside a cloud environment, delivering architectural leadership for the operational team and for combined cloud projects while you continually help produce detailed HLD & LLD - end to end architecture solutions, Safeguarding architectural governance over solution delivery. As well as ensuring security practices and governance are put in place.

You will be seen as an escalation point for technical and architectural issues for the Cloud platform within the business. Must have expertise of security principles such as HBAC/RBAC/PAM/MFA and Understanding of Networking TCP/IP and associated function. Suited candidate will have IT Industry standards, services, design, architecture, principles design, architecture views and viewpoint design, building block design, solutions modelling and systems behaviour within an AWS environment.

The role requires you to be Proficient in AWS technologies and services DNS/AD/Route 53. AWS certification would be a bonus, as would strong awareness of databases, networking and security of cloud migration design and implementation.
