Our client is looking for a Senior IT Service Management Consultant with depth and breadth in being a lead Service Transition Consultant and lead Vendor Management Consultant within a fast-paced, low maturity organisation, whereby you have helped an organisation build overall maturity and capability.

The role will involve developing and implementing robust processes for supplier/vendor management and service transition for new projects within our clients IT department. Reporting to the senior management team you will be accountable for creating comprehensive strategies that ensure smooth transitions of IT services and effective management of IT suppliers, thereby enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency for the organisation. The ideal candidate will have recent completed a similar role within a fast-paced environment. Any recent experience working within FMCG sector is extremely advantageous. As is certification ITIL and PMP.

 

Key skills and experiences:

- Proven experience in IT Service Management, specifically in developing and implementing supplier/vendor management and service transition processes.

- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL, and their application in a business context.

- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.

- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts and relationships with suppliers/vendors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and effective solutions to complex issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with teams across the organization and with external partners.

- Ability to lead change and drive process adoption among stakeholders.

- Expert requirement documentation experience and process/implementation experience, specifically implementing
