Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional ready to make a strategic impact? We are seeking a dynamic SC cleared Cyber Transformation Lead to accelerate our cybersecurity transformation efforts in support of the Deputy CISO and the Cyber Security & Information Assurance function.

Role:

In this pivotal position, you will serve as an internal cyber advisor, guiding our organisation through complex challenges and strategic initiatives aligned with Senior Leadership objectives and statutory obligations, including GDPR and other relevant non-ONR requirements. Your expertise will help shape our cyber policies, uplift security culture, and establish professional standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development, refresh, and embedding of cyber policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and adoption.

Lead and coordinate the resolution of high-profile or complex cyber issues, facilitating stakeholder engagement across departments.

Provide portfolio oversight with RAG (Red-Amber-Green) reporting; escalate issues and drive timely remediation.

Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities, and brief leadership with strategic recommendations.

Support assurance activities, incident readiness, and contribute to senior-level briefings.

Assist in establishing cyber profession standards in collaboration with HR and L&D teams.

Proven experience in leading cyber transformation initiatives, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong understanding of cyber standards, statutory obligations, and compliance frameworks.

Ability to manage and report on portfolios, track progress, and escalate issues effectively.

Skilled in horizon scanning, risk assessment, and briefing senior leadership.

Experience working with diverse teams, policy owners, project managers, and technical stakeholders.

Relevant security certifications are desirable.

Active SC clearance required for this role
