Cyber Security Assurance Specialist – infrastructure, cloud, architecture, design, SC Cleared, Hybrid, Greater London

 

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Assurance Specialist to join our team. This cross-functional role involves advisory and hands-on responsibilities in security assurance, risk management, architecture reviews, vulnerability management, and embedding security controls across IT and OT environments, including cloud and hybrid systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Review and advise on security architecture and risk registers

Lead assurance assessments and embed security controls

Support internal audits and compliance with standards like ISO 27001, Gov Assure, and Cyber Essentials

Guide teams on secure-by-design principles

Support secure operation of core services across platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and OT systems

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

Secure infrastructure/cloud architecture design

Risk assessment methodologies and enterprise risk management

Knowledge of frameworks: ISO 27001, Gov Assure, NIST, Cyber Essentials

Security audit support and remediation

Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft 365, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management

Policy development, access control, and logging standards

Stakeholder engagement and technical reporting

 

Desirable:

Degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCP, SIRA, etc.)

Experience in regulated or government environments

OT/ICS/SCADA security knowledge
